Nancy Good Toman Named JADA Executive Director

Jacksonville Automobile Dealers Association is excited to announce that Nancy Good Toman has been named Executive Director as of January 1st, 2024. With a career in the automotive industry spanning several decades and expertise in marketing, advertising, and managing dealerships, we are confident  Nancy is set to guide JADA toward growth and increased community involvement.

“Nancy has worked in the automotive industry for many years with great success, and we are thrilled to have her join JADA as Executive Director,” said Telis Assimenios, JADA Board President. “Her expertise in the business, positive energy, and innovative ideas make Nancy a valuable addition to our team.”

About Nancy Good Toman

Nancy began her career in broadcast journalism before transitioning into marketing and advertising, specializing in the automotive industry. She has served as executive administrator at Duval Motor Company for the past five years, giving her a unique blend of skills that will be essential to JADA.

Having worked directly with managers at three dealership groups in Jacksonville, including Coggin Automotive Group and Brumos Automotive, Nancy has a deep understanding of the day-to-day activities crucial to the success of automotive enterprises. “After working with JADA for decades from the dealership side, it’s exciting to add my talents and expertise to the board,” Nancy said.

Community Involvement and Commitment to Excellence

Under Nancy‘s leadership, JADA will continue its commitment to maintaining a strong, positive reputation for dealerships in Jacksonville. “I look forward to leading JADA to new partnerships, future success for our member dealers, and continued positive contributions to the community,” Nancy added.

Nancy is drawn to JADA’s involvement in charities, participation in the annual auto show, and its role in keeping dealerships informed about Florida rules and regulations. She looks forward to continuing to help the organization maintain its cherished reputation in Northeast Florida.

Goals for the Future

In her new role, Nancy plans to update and streamline some of JADA’s current processes to simplify communication between the board, community, and member dealers. “Whether it’s emailing, check writing, or bill paying, streamlining all processes and procedures is the key to future success,” she said.

Nancy’s Hobbies and Personal Life

Nancy has a five-month-old granddaughter who she describes as “the light of her life.” Family means everything to her, and she enjoys spending time with her three adult children and daughter-in-law. “I love being in Florida and having access to all the sunshine and water,” she said. Nancy also enjoys walking, reading, and solving jigsaw puzzles in her free time.
